Trooper von Trulben is a stunning 3 year old German Shepherd.  Trooper has many great qualities but he needs a special owner who enjoys training and continues to teach him boundaries. He is housebroken and knows his commands. He has an engaging personality and likes to make the volunteers laugh with his crazy antics on a slow adoption day. He loves toys and throws them all over, but isn't great about cleaning up afterwards. He is good with men he knows, but can react to new men.He can be protective in his home, including with housekeepers and gardeners. Trooper is a busy, high energy boy and needs a larger space to work off some energy. Having another playful dog or two would be helpful.  (No cats please.) Any K9 officers out there looking for a personal dog? We would even pay transport fees it you're long distance adopter. You would be our hero!
